Adding dimension to the yard.
With the sub grade finished 3" below the top of the sidewalk there is enough room to put the right amount of topsoil.

Before spreading the topsoil the water shut off is marked so that it isn't barried or damaged. The road crush is compacted for the wall around the planting bed.
The bottom layer of the wall has to be completly level before the next layer is put on. These split and stack walls are available at Classic Landscapes in different colors.
The edging is installed and the shrubs are planted
The sod is laid and then watered.
Before the patio blocks go down the sand has to be level.
The patio blocks create a good surface to put a table and chairs or storage under the deck.
