Project Gallery
Over the last 25 years we have had the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of landscape solutions. Please enjoy this gallery with some of our recent projects complete with photos and details of the process.
An entrance pond is inviting and tranquil.
Landscape fabric is placed on the concrete to prevent weeds.
The landscape fabric also helps with keeping the sand in place. The Bio Falls is placed in the correct spot for the length of hose and size of pump that was purchased.
Landscaping fabric is layed down where the stream is going to go. Large boulders are placed at the streams edge then the area is backfilled with sand and top soil.
The stream is then lined and flat rocks are carfully selected and placed to get the right waterfall effect.
The bottom stream and pond are marked out
The typical pond is about 2'-3' deep and has 2-3 shelves.
Once the underlay and liner are laid down small boulders (4"-12") are placed along the vertical sides. For different effects medium boulders are placed on the pond shelves. Small rocks are placed on the horizontal shelves to finish the bottom. When placing boulders and rocks place them gently on the liner so that the liner does not get punctured.
The Bio Falls and Skimmer are hooked up and the pond is filled with water, ready to be tested.
With everything running smoothy the rocks in the stream can be adjusted a little bit to get the desired sound effect.
The system is all working fine now the landscape around the pond can be completed. These spirea and lilacs are a great addition to the landscape.
To add some effect at night low voltage lights are used to creat focal points.
