West Coast Seeds Fresca Strawberry Seeds
Big, mouthwatering traditional market-style strawberries. This perennial, everbearking variety should produce the first year, and will eventually yield heavily over a long season. Flowering begins four weeks earlier than other varieties. OP.

Timing: Sow indoors from December to February. Seeds started after this may not produce fruit the first year.
Seeding: Barely cover the tiny seeds in fine, moist, sterile soil in containers. Tuck the seeded containers inside sealed plastic bags and refrigerate for 3-4 weeks. Allow the seeded, sealed containers to come to room temperature, and place over bottom heat. Keep the trays under bright lights at 18-24°C (65-75°F). Germination may take 7 to 42 days, so be patient. Once germination occurs, increase ventilation and remove from bottom heat.
Growing: Space transplants 60cm (24") apart in rows 90-120cm (36-48") apart. Grow in well-drained sandy loam that has been generously dug with organic matter.
