West Coast Seeds Sunburst Scallopini Squash Seeds
The bright yellow fruits of this productive bush variety keep coming all summer. Harvest the fruits shortly after pollination or up to 15cm (6") in diameter. Sunburst has incredible buttery flavour and appealing texture. 60 days, F1.

Timing: Transplant or direct sow when soil warms in late spring. Start transplants 3-4 weeks earlier. Optimal soil temperature for germination: 25-35°C (68-95°F).
Seeding: Sow 2cm (1") deep. If it rains or cools off, you may need to sow again.
Growing: Plant in well drained, fertile, humus-rich soil in full sun. The ideal pH range for squash plants if 6.0 to 6.8. Space squash plants 90-120cm (36-48") apart, in rows set 120-180cm (48-72") apart. Add one cup of balanced organic fertilizer, mixed well into the soil beneath each transplant, and provide costant moisture throughout the season. Avoid overhead watering to prevent plant diseases. Remove any fruit that does not set properly. Flowers planted nearby will improve pollination and fruit set.
