West Coast Seeds Tall Utah 52-70 Celery Seeds
An early and disease-resistant celery that's slow to bolt. The plants are upright and compact, growing to 76cm (30") tall, with good heart development and strong roots. Tall Utah holds its form and colour well for market for home growers. 100 days, OP.

Timing: Start celery indoors about 10 to 12 weeks before the last frost. Seeds take 20 to 30 days to germinate, so be patient.
Seeding: Sow seeds 5mm (1/4") deep, 3 seeds to a pot or cell, and thin to the strongest plant. Keep seedlings and transplants very moist.
Growing: Celery is a heavy feeder that needs rich, moist soil. Add compost to the bed and mix in 1/4-1/2 cup of balanced organic fertilizer per 1.5m (5') of row. Transplant celery seedlings when they are 10-12cm (4-5") tall. Space transplants 30cm (12") apart in rows 45cm (18") apart, and water frequently.
