West Coast Seeds Toma Verde Tomatillo Seeds
Tomatillos are easy to grow and very productive. The firm fruits can be enjoyed raw, cooked, or roasted for salsa verde recipes. Expect a concentrated harvest from mid- to late summer. The bushy plants can reach 1m (3') across. 70 days, OP.

Timing: Start indoors around the last frost date. Use bottom heat, and transplant seedlings out in warm weather, after tomaoes go out . Days to maturity: From transplant date.
Seeding: Sow seeds 5bb-1cm (1/4-1/2") deep in individual pots or trays. Space transplants 45-60cm (18-24") apart in rows 90-120cm (36-48") apart.
Growing: Ideal pH range: 6.0 to 6.5. Mix one cup of balanced organix fertilizer into the soil beneath each transplant. Provide support to keep drooping branches off the ground, tomato cages work well for this. Pick tomatillos when they're still green. Remove the inedible husk, and rinse the fruits under cold running water to remove the sticky coating before using.
